Lucky Cat Beer is a nano brewery operated by Mike "Scoats" Scotese and Jason Macias. Due to rapidly changing times, we had to radically change course multiple times over our 3 years of existence. We learned to be nimble and patient. And it got us to where we are now.
We teamed up with Broken Goblet and Trauger Brewing to found Mutual Respect Brewers Co-op in Bensalem, PA. Mutual Respect is housed in Broken Goblet's space on State Road, expanding into an additional 6,000 square feet there.
Besides brewing whatever strikes our fancy, our focus is on recreating craft beers that have been lost to time for whatever reason. Lucky Cat Beer is the evolution of The Grey Lodge Pub, one of Philadelphia's original beer bars.
Our beer is currently available in the eastern half of Pennsylvania. If your local retailer would like to carry our beer, please ask them to contact our wholesaler, Stockertown Beverage.

Sunshine, Blue Skies Blueberry Blond Ale
Sunshine, Blue Skies is a rock solid blond ale with real blueberry preserves.
This is an old school fruit beer that is just beer and fruit; we didn't junk it up with other flavors. We didn't have to; blueberry and blond beer is a wonderful combination. 5.4% ABV
This is a beer for everyone, from occasional beer drinkers to hardcore beer geeks like us.
Residue of Design East Cost IPA
When we formulated this beer a year or three ago (time is a hazy thing), we thought we were inspired by our memories of West Coast IPAs from back in the day. Our Mutual Respect Brewers Co-op in-house beer god told us he didn’t think it was a West Coast IPA but more inspired by east coast IPAs of the time. It seems our east coast roots came through without us realizing it. However it is described, it fits our desire of a tasty IPA we want to drink lots of. Extremely drinkable and enjoyable. 6.5% ABV.
Prognosticator Doppelbock Cans
For Groundhog Day, in honor of Punxsutawney Phil, we brew Prognosticator, an authentic doppelbock lager. This brown furry monster clocks in at 8.7% ABV.
